When standard paper sizes can't keep up with your ambition, large format printing steps in. From floor-to-ceiling exhibition backdrops and durable outdoor signage to immersive retail wall graphics and gallery-quality canvas art, Happy Print Shop's wide-format presses produce sharp, colour-accurate output on virtually any substrate — up to 5 metres wide and as long as you need. We've been doing this from our International Plaza studio for over 40 years, and the experience shows in every square metre we print.

Substrates for Every Situation

Choosing the right material is half the battle. We stock and print on a broad selection of substrates, each suited to different environments and purposes:

• Frontlit vinyl (440 gsm) — the backbone of outdoor advertising. Tough, weather-resistant and economical. Finished with welded hems and stainless-steel grommets.
• Mesh vinyl — perforated to reduce wind resistance on large outdoor installations like scaffolding wraps, fence banners and elevated signage.
• Polyester fabric — lightweight, crease-resistant and machine-washable. Dye-sublimation printing produces vivid, photo-realistic colour. First choice for exhibition backdrops, trade show booths and indoor retail displays.
• Canvas — a textured, archival-quality medium for fine art reproductions, photography exhibitions and upscale office decor. Supplied rolled or stretched over timber frames.
• Self-adhesive vinyl — for wall wraps, window decals, floor graphics and vehicle livery. Available in gloss, matt, frosted and one-way-vision finishes.
• Rigid boards — foam board (5 mm / 10 mm), PVC sheet (3 mm / 5 mm), acrylic and aluminium composite panel. Used for wayfinding signs, exhibition panels and semi-permanent indoor/outdoor signage.

A strong visual presence at a trade show or product launch can make or break the event. Our exhibition graphics service covers every element — fabric backdrops, pop-up display systems, stage wraps, hanging banners, floor decals and directional signage. We understand event timelines are tight, so we coordinate closely with your schedule and can deliver directly to venues island-wide.

Outdoor Signage Built for the Tropics

Singapore's combination of fierce UV, heavy rain and constant humidity will degrade inferior prints within weeks. Our eco-solvent and UV-curable inks are engineered for outdoor durability, maintaining colour integrity for two to three years under direct exposure. We regularly produce storefront signage, construction hoarding, car park wayfinding panels, building wraps and roadside promotional displays — all built to survive the local climate.

Vehicle Wraps and Floor Advertising

Turn a company van, lorry or car into a moving billboard with professionally printed vehicle wraps. We use conformable cast vinyl that hugs curves and recesses without bubbling or peeling. For retail floors, event spaces and shopping malls, our anti-slip laminated floor graphics transform underfoot space into an eye-catching advertising channel.

Preparing Your Files for Large Format

You do not need to build your artwork at full scale. Working at 50 % or 25 % size with proportionally higher resolution is standard practice. As a rule of thumb, 150 dpi at actual print dimensions is sufficient for most signage and event graphics. For close-range displays, bump that up to 300 dpi. We accept PDF, TIFF, PSD, AI and EPS files and run complimentary prepress checks on every order.

Pricing and Lead Times

Large format jobs are priced per square metre: vinyl from SGD 7, fabric from SGD 13, canvas from SGD 22 and rigid board from SGD 28. Volume pricing applies automatically on bigger orders. Standard production is two to three working days; express turnaround is available for urgent deadlines — just let us know upfront.
