Getting Started
Everything you need to know before your first visit or order with us.
Who is Happy Print Shop?
We are a family-run print studio established in 1985, operating from International Plaza in the heart of Singapore's CBD. Over the decades we have helped thousands of businesses and individuals bring their ideas to life through high-quality name cards, banners, booklets, brochures, flyers, posters, large format graphics, photocopying, lamination and binding.
How do I find your studio?
We are at 10 Anson Road, #02-99, International Plaza, Singapore 079903. The building is a short walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT (East-West Line). Take the escalator to Level 2 and follow the corridor signage to unit #02-99. Street parking and public car parks are available nearby.
When can I visit the studio?
Our doors are open Monday to Friday, 11:15 am to 6:15 pm. We close on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. If you are planning to drop by near opening or closing time, a quick email to [email protected] will help us make sure someone is available to assist you.
What makes Happy Print Shop different from online print portals?
Unlike fully automated online printers, we review every job personally. You can speak directly with our production team, inspect paper samples in-studio, and request adjustments on the spot. With over 40 years of hands-on experience, we catch potential issues before they reach the press and ensure colours and finishes match your expectations.
Artwork & Submissions
Tips on preparing artwork and getting your files to us smoothly.
What is the best way to start an order?
The simplest route is to email your artwork and job details to [email protected]. You can also walk into our studio with your files on a thumb drive, or share a cloud link (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer). We will confirm specifications, pricing and timeline before any printing begins.
Which file types produce the sharpest results?
High-resolution PDF files set to CMYK colour mode at 300 DPI deliver the best output. We also work with AI, EPS, PSD, TIFF, PNG and JPEG files. A useful workflow tip: outline all fonts and embed images within your PDF to avoid font-substitution surprises at print time.
How should I set up bleed and safe margins?
Add 3 mm bleed on all sides and keep important text or logos at least 5 mm inside the trim line. This prevents white edges after cutting and ensures nothing essential is trimmed off. If you are unsure, our team can check your layout and advise adjustments at no extra charge.
What if my file is too large to email?
For files larger than 10 MB, upload them to a cloud service such as Google Drive or WeTransfer and share the download link with us. Alternatively, you can bring the files on a USB drive when you visit our studio. We handle files of any size without issue.
Can your team make small edits to my artwork?
Yes, we can handle minor tweaks like text changes, colour shifts, resizing and repositioning elements. For more involved design work — such as creating a layout from scratch — we recommend partnering with a graphic designer and then sending us the finished file for production.
Products & Capabilities
Explore our range of print products, materials and finishing options.
How quickly can name cards be ready?
With print-ready artwork, standard name cards can often be completed within the same working day. Specialty finishes such as spot UV, embossing or metallic foil will add 2 to 3 extra working days. Let us know your deadline and we will map out a realistic schedule.
What paper stocks and finishes are available?
We carry art card (260 gsm, 310 gsm), art paper (128 gsm, 157 gsm), textured linen stock, recycled kraft and durable synthetic media for outdoor banners. Finishing options include gloss or matte lamination, soft-touch coating, spot UV varnish and round-corner die-cutting. Drop by our studio to feel the samples in person.
What size banners and posters can you produce?
Our wide-format printers handle rolls up to 1.5 metres wide and virtually unlimited length, making them ideal for pull-up banners, exhibition backdrops and outdoor signage. For exact specifications, describe your project and we will recommend the best material and dimensions.
Do you offer booklet and brochure binding?
Yes. We provide saddle-stitch binding for slim booklets, perfect binding for thicker publications and wire-O or comb binding for presentations and manuals. Each method suits different page counts and use cases — ask us which option works best for your project.
Is there a minimum quantity for print orders?
Digital printing has no fixed minimum — we happily print a single poster or a handful of flyers. Offset runs generally start from 500 pieces because of plate and setup costs. We will suggest the most cost-effective method based on your quantity and budget.
Quotes & Payment
How pricing works and the ways you can pay for your order.
How do I request a price estimate?
Send your job specifications — product type, quantity, size, paper choice and any finishing preferences — to [email protected]. You can also use the contact form on our website. Estimates are free and carry no obligation.
What factors affect the final price?
The main variables are print quantity, paper weight, number of colours (full colour vs. single colour), finishing treatments (lamination, spot UV, die-cut) and turnaround speed. Ordering in larger quantities typically brings the per-piece cost down significantly.
Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept cash, NETS, PayNow, bank transfer (FAST) and cheque. Full payment is collected before production starts. Corporate clients with regular orders may apply for monthly invoicing terms — email [email protected] to discuss.
Are there additional fees for rush orders?
Urgent jobs that require same-day or next-day completion may attract a priority surcharge, depending on complexity and current workload. We will always confirm the total cost upfront so you can decide before we proceed.
Shipping & Collection

Can you ship my order to any address in Singapore?
Yes, we dispatch island-wide to homes, offices, co-working spaces and event venues. Shipping fees vary by parcel weight and destination. For bulky items like large banners, we will arrange an appropriate courier and share the cost with you beforehand.
How soon after production will my order arrive?
Standard dispatch within Singapore takes 1 to 2 working days once printing is complete. If you need your materials for an event or deadline, let us know the date and we will schedule production and delivery to arrive on time.
Is same-day dispatch possible?
Same-day dispatch can be arranged for orders completed before 3 pm, subject to courier availability and delivery zone. Reach out early in the day so we can coordinate a slot for you.
